OPENING CEREMONY

Our opening ceremony was held at the Campus 1 of UTP (Universitas Tunas Pembangunan). Our coordinator/mentor, the rektor of the university together with the vice rektors were all present to welcome the participants of SEA-TEACH from Ateneo de Naga University (me and Kat) and Benguet State University (Tin and Krizel) in their university and in Surakarta, Indonesia.
It was held at the rektor's office and we were all very honored and privileged to meet him together with the vice rektors. Their presence made us feel very special and welcome to their university. They also gave us different merchandises which includes the cap, coat and polo shirt from the university in which we wore during our group pictorial.

Pak Risma is our coordinator/mentor. He was one of the interviewers during our online interview. Our stay in Surakarta, Indonesia won't be as fun as it was if it wasn't for his presence. Even though we only knew each other for a short period of time, we were able to build a bond which i know will last for a lifetime. He is a very busy person but he ensures that we are always accompanied by our buddies from UTP. It was our host university's first time to participate in the SEA-TEACH Project and it was because of the efforts made by him.
