The teachers in the school didn't ask us to follow the curriculum that they are using which is KURIKULUM 2013 (K-13) so we used the format of the lesson plan in the Philippines specifically in our school, Ateneo de Naga University. The type of lesson that i've used is semi-detailed lesson plan. It contains 5 areas.

 

1. The first part is the Learning Objectives. It contains three objectives for the lesson that will be discussed in class. Each objectives must focus on cognitive, affective and psychomotor area. It is important to focus not just on the cognitive area but also on the affective which means that the lesson must touch the students' heart and on psychomotor which means that the students must have an output or perform a certain activity related to the lesson.

2. The second part is the Learning Content. This part contains the book's name, author and page number of the source of lesson, the materials to be used in the discussion, values to be integrated, background of the learners and the 21st century skills which will be integrated during the discussion proper.

3. The third part is the Learning Experiences. The content of this part depends on the method of teaching that you will use. I used the 4As methods which consist of Activate Prior Knowledge, Acquire New Knowledge, Application and Assessment.

4. The fourth part is the Evaluation. It must contain what the teacher will ask the students to do to assess the learning that they've gained from the discussion.

5. The last part is the Assignment. It contains the homework or assignment for the students which can be related to the lesson discussed or the next lesson to be discussed by the teacher.
